About Riviera Hotshots Jazzband

The band were formed in 1980 by Peter James. Available in various combinations and instrumentation, using from three to seven musicians and can perform acoustically, or with full PA system and lights if required.

Dress can be either stripey coloured waistcoats with white or black shirts, bow ties or formal evening dress suits, black tie.

The music is hot jazz from Chicago, New York and the dance music of the 20s, 30s and 40s. Includes songs from Fred Astaire, Cab Calloway, Bix Beiderbecke, Louis Armstrong with Gershwin, Porter, Berlin favourites, (4pc or more). Probably the most universally accepted form of jazz loved by afficionados and the lay public alike.

Excellent for creating a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Suitable for almost any corporate or private function including wedding receptions, dinners, fashion shows, product launches, sales promotions, fetes, riverboats, festivals, sports events, parties etc, and a great attention grabber!
